Integration

Astea has many integration tools for its clients to seamlessly work with, and leverage, your existing application infrastructure. We provide the framework to exchange data and integrate our solution processes with a wide range of applications such as back-office financial and ERP applications, remote equipment monitoring and diagnostic software, CRM applications, tax software solutions, and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI).

The selection criteria for the integration approach and tools depends on whether the integration requires flat files or XML, the frequency of events (e.g. once per day versus real time), middleware availability (Microsoft BizTalk ®, SAP Netweaver PI, etc.), the technical skill set in the client organization, error handling (real time or not) and other constraints or requirements. Our integration tools extend Astea’s return on investment for customers by making all solution areas accessible to external software through web services and open, well defined, synchronous and asynchronous application programming interfaces (APIs) that are XML based. Astea has successfully integrated to many ERPs at our client sites utilizing a number of different methods, which are dependent on our clients’ environments and IT policies and practices.
