Astea International Successfully Completes SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type 2 Audit Certification
Reaffirms Commitment to Maintaining Comprehensive & Effective Controls and Policies for their Cloud Offerings
HORSHAM, PA (March 1, 2016) — Astea International Inc., a global provider of service management and mobility solutions, today announced that it has successfully completed an independent audit for the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type 2 audit certification with no exceptions. Completion of this audit validates that Astea has completed an independent audit of its controls, policies, and procedures related to its cloud offerings.

Astea’s SOC 2 report focused on their non-financial reporting controls as they relate to security, availability, and confidentiality. The SOC 2 report provides valuable information that current and prospective cloud customers of Astea need to assess the risks associated with any cloud offering.
