The findings reveal that while part of the puzzle still involves identifying ways to acquire this data, the primary focus for service leaders today is ensuring that the data drives insight and decision-making for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Not every individual in the service hierarchy needs the same data for the same decision-making. Organizations need to look at:

  • Who needs better insight;
  • Why they need it;
  • Where the insight is coming from; and
  • How it is going to be utilized.
