The story of FieldCentrix for Microsoft Dynamics CRM has its roots in Astea's drive to create new ways to positively impact the Service Management Lifecycle for our customers.

In 2005, Astea Worldwide acquired FieldCentrix, the leading provider of mobile workforce solutions. Astea and FieldCentrix together bring more than 36 years of proven experience and excellence to better support customers in their challenge to decrease costs, maximize revenues and increase the quality of service to achieve a competitive advantage. Our vision is to continue to enable the seamless integration of information and a common user-interface across all areas in the Service Management Lifecycle, which will lead to a reduction in process costs and lowered total cost of ownership.

In 2006, Astea attained Gold Certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program with competencies in ISV (Independent Software Vendor)/Software and Mobility Solutions, recognizing Astea's expertise and total impact in the technology marketplace. As a Gold Certified partner, we have demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven our ability to meet customers' needs.

Later in 2006, Astea formed a strategic alliance with Microsoft to provide integrated Service Lifecycle Management solutions with Microsoft Dynamics GP® and Microsoft Dynamics AX®. By expanding our footprint by offering premier ERP solutions from Microsoft, we improved our ability to deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions for companies that sell, service and support capital equipment.
