Because of continued growth we are currently hiring for our B2B Lead Generation Specialist in our Horsham Office
B2B Lead Generator Responsibilities:
- Proactively pursue business-to-business leads through telemarketing and relationship building (50-60 calls per day).
- Identify “C” level contacts within target companies (employ effective account exploration and account mining tactics).
- Remain up to date on Astea’s latest software solutions
- Utilize creativity and initiative in establishing rapport with prospect and obtaining pertinent information from them via the telephone.
- Provide excellent customer service (handle all incoming information requests and sales calls promptly).
- Follow-up on leads generated by direct mail, trade shows and web site activities.
- Provide assistance to outside sales force - work as part of a team to meet company sales objectives (follow up on leads provided to sales force to confirm contact).
- Maintain accurate records (update information within contact management system/ database).
- Prepare and distribute information packages.
- Prepare activity reports as required.
- Once a lead is identified, transition to sales team for close.
CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Experience in high volume outbound calling (strong business to business telemarketing skills) and prospecting as well as an ability to communicate with Fortune 1000 IT decision-makers.
- Experience with complex software sales environments is ideal
- Ability to communicate effectively on the phone with all levels of an organization. Create and develop rapport with prospects.
- Ability to stay focused and current on appropriate issues, products and services throughout Astea, and have the ability to meet the challenges of a dynamic environment.
- Possess a strong desire to succeed - be tenacious, persistent and goal oriented.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and self-motivational skills.
- Results-oriented individual who can work in a team environment, as well as make independent decisions.
- A minimum of 2 years of lead generation or business development experience.
- College Degree and computer knowledge preferred.
