Mark Comer
Managing Director, EMEA
As managing director, EMEA, Mark is responsible for growing Astea's business in the European, Middle Eastern and African regions. Mark Comer is a diversified senior executive with global information technology applications and services experience. He has 20 years experience in the software industry and over 15 years in direct and channel sales. Prior to joining Astea he worked at a number of startups, one of which was sold to IBM. On leaving IBM, he spent 8 years at PeopleSoft and Oracle where he held a number of field and operational roles. At PeopleSoft, Comer received numerous citations recognizing excellence in sales and customer satisfaction. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Masters of Business Administration.
David Hutchinson
Professional Services Director, EMEA
Heading up the EMEA service team, David works closely with customers, managing the provision of professional services including business process re-engineering, implementation services, customer support services and software development work. With 19 years experience in the IT solutions delivery business, David has previously worked with companies such as EDS and Indus International with whom he worked for over 10 years in a variety of troubleshooting roles. David has a broad range of managerial and hands-on experience within Professional Services, Consulting, Customer Services, Training and Channel Management where he has achieved a high level of customer service and financial performance.
